Situation
In July, 2004, Carole W. Parker, GRI in Headland, Alabama, contacted me to design aweb site
for her new real estate business. Carole could have opted to use web site design and hosting that was offered on her associated broker'sweb site
but decided that she wanted a customized site specifically designed for her.Challenge
Carole was typical of most clients as they realized that they needed awebsite
but didn't know where to start. We assisted in defining what were the key points she wanted to get across to her potential clients.Solution
After meeting with Carole to determine what she wanted on the site and deciding on a color scheme, we created a web site that provides her with a customized header logo, a simple navigation bar, a dynamic link to current day real estate news, a listings page that dynamically includes her MLS listing service for single homes and land lots while still remaining on her web site, a gallery where she can add albums and upload pictures of properties that she is representing, tips for buyers and sellers using drop-down options, a glossary of real estate terms to assist buyers as well as sellers and links to relevant web sites.Update
In January 2006, we changed the color scheme for Carole's website. In March 2009, we performed a
complete redesign
of the website to bring the style up-to-date and to add more administrative capabilities to the website. In addition, we added an area for auctions where Carole can display items that are included in auctions that she would be conducting. Results
Carole has a site that meets her needs for both real estate and for auctions.Check out CaroleWParker.com
