Situation

In January, Steve Boyette with S&B Land Development. LLC came to our offices and wanted our firm to take over responsibilities for their Willow Walk Development website.  Although they liked the website as it was, they were dissatisfied with the delay in getting changes made to the site.

Challenge

Initially, we considered converting the website to a

Joomla

based website but based on the conversations with Steve, we opted to stay with the current custom built site..

Solution

Based on requests from Steve, we have expanded and enhanced the site as well as to cleanup code that was not compliant with W3C specifications.  Although the site is not 100% compliant, it is more than 98% compliant with the minor issues being the use of non-compliant code to get particular visual effects.

We've added a gallery application to showcase images from the development, converted a DVD movie and uploaded to three different services with individual pages with the embedded videos, cleaned up the plat image with indivdiual lot popup text, updated the pricing page with new prices (which was really easy but that was one of the problems with the previous firm that was maintaining the website), and added in an Area section with information on area attractions, events, recreational resources, travel facilities, educations institutions and medical resources.  These are the types of things that prospective buyers are looking for in a community.

Result

S&B Land Development LLC has the site they wanted but with the

service and support

that they need.
