It's an honest question. Why should you hire someone to do your website? For convenience!

Most people are intelligent human beings and we can pretty much figure out how to do things. Want to change you oil in your car? Get out your automotive manual, read how to do it, go buy the oil at an auto parts store, lift up the hood of your car and change your oil including the filter! Simple.

Naw!!!! Most people don't want the hassle so they just go to their local automotive shop, whether it's a car dealership, local auto shop or one of the many oil change facilities to get it done. Why? It's convenient and you don't mind paying someone else to do it.

It's the same for hiring someone to develop and host your website. Convenience.

Who really wants to invest the time and effort to contact the 3-4-5 different companies you need to deal with getting a website setup and going, then have to read Frontpage for Dummies (sorry, it was a nice dig to get in) so you could use a product like Microsoft Frontpage to create your pages.

Incidentally, Frontpage is an 'awful' website development platform but it is easy to learn.
